If you are flying, we will meet you at the airport in either Puerto Jimenez (preferred) or Golfito, take a taxi to the public dock and then our boat to Saladero Eco Lodge. Sansa Air flies daily from both Puerto Jimenez and Golfito.

If you are driving you can leave your car in town. In Golfito you can leave your car at the Mar Y Luna hotel/bar. They have a secure and guarded lot and charge ca. $10 per day. In Puerto Jimenez you can leave it at several hotels on the beach, fees vary. We will meet you at the public dock or at the hotel and then take our boat to Saladero Eco Lodge.

If you are coming from Drake Bay or Chackarita by bus, we can pick you up at Playa Blanca beach. This can save you (and us) hours of travel time. Get off the bus in La Palma and take a taxi to Playa Blanca.

All boat transfers are done from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Our normal boat pick up time in Puerto Jimenez or Golfito is 10:00 a.m. and when leaving Saladero it is by 8:00 a.m. 

 

If you are arriving later than 2:00 p.m. you will need to spend the night and we will pick you up the next morning.

If you have an early 6:30 a.m. arrival time, we will not be able to meet you at the airport. You can go to a local restaurant and we will meet you between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
