​​​​​At Saladero, we are proud to be a vegetarian/vegan lodge, offering a delightful selection of plant-based dishes alongside fresh-caught fish for seafood enthusiasts. Our meals are crafted to be fresh, healthy, balanced, and bursting with flavor.

 

Every dish is prepared from scratch using the finest ingredients. Whenever possible, we harvest herbs, roots, vegetables, and fruits directly from our gardens. These include coconuts, bananas, pineapples, papaya, guanabana, moringa, coriander, ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and limes - all organic, nutrient-rich, and grown with care.

 

Our open kitchen is where fusion cuisine comes to life. Tico-inspired dishes blend harmoniously with international favorites and specialties. On our menu, you’ll find:

  • Empanadas

  • Curries

  • Pasta

  • Chalupas

  • Coconut Rice

  • Yucca Fries

  • Plantain Chips

  • Gazpacho

  • Bowls and Salads
     

Occasionally, we fire up our pizza oven for a special treat.

We serve generous portions, accompanied by an abundance of fresh juices and smoothies. Some are green, others are sweet, many feature cocoa, but all taste like a tropical vacation.
 

And of course, no day is complete without a fresh pipa - a young coconut. Sip on its refreshing water as you relax on the veranda, watching dolphins glide through the waters of Golfo Dulce.
